…and the living is easy.

The Awkward Poser is going to take a break from his ruminations. I wish you all a warm and happy summer. I will be back come September. In the meantime, be kind to yourself and to every other creature on this lovely planet.

About paulefallon

Greetings reader. I am a writer, architect, cyclist and father from Cambridge, MA. My primary blog, is an archive of all my published writing. The title refers to a sequence of three yoga positions that increase focus and build strength by shifting the body’s center of gravity. The objective is balance without stability. My writing addresses opposing tension in our world, and my attempt to find balance through understanding that opposition. During 2015-2106 I am cycling through all 48 mainland United States and asking the question "How will we live tomorrow?" That journey is chronicled in a dedicated blog,, that includes personal writing related to my adventure as well as others' responses to my question. Thank you for visiting.

Joe – Thanks for noticing The Awkward Poser’s absence. Over the summer I got involved in writing a novel, which has consumed all of my writing energy, and then some. I am deep into a first draft, but still months away from seeing daylight on that project. Perhaps then The Awkward Pose will wake up again.

    Hello Paul,
Enjoy seeing your lovely Hollyhocks on this cloudy cold January day. I have a question for you regarding the house and garden we collaborated on in Wellesley a few decades ago. If you could reply to discuss, it would be much appreciated.
